Surrendered to Blessing
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11.6

This is a season where God is using our surrender in big decisions to pour out extravagant blessings! It will take courage and faith to say “yes” to the big decision in front of us. But when you surrender to God’s will, He will reveal His intentions to bless you with your decision. In the moment, you may not feel like you even have a choice or like you want more understanding. You will have clarity where the step of faith is and where God is leading you, but you may not have understanding in the middle of it all. God is doing this in areas of: land ownership, freedom to do what you’re called to/love, generational blessings, relationships, and jobs. As you are faced with a big decision, lay it before the Lord and see where He leads you. You will have peace and know what you are to do. It could come through dreams, a prophetic word, a vision, sensing a shift in the season or other ways. God will use your obedience (after you’ve said “yes”) to reveal His plan to bless you! His blessing will delight you, reveal to you how well He knows you, and strengthen your resolve to keep moving forward. This blessing will touch generations, as God is shifting things now to turn them for your good.

God is drawing out our faith so that He can pour out His blessings. Some are facing situations that will require a big “YES!” in order to move forward, but in that "yes" is a cascade of blessings that will unfold after you’ve surrendered to the Lord. The blessing will actually tap into your heart’s desire, and come about in a way that truly seems supernatural!

This word is for you if you are facing a big decision with serious consequences. You need to hear from the Lord, and you may feel like you don’t have a choice. It could be something you’ve been praying about for some time, and suddenly you sense the shift in the spirit realm. Then, step out in faith! Spend time in His presence. Ask Him to speak to your spirit in undeniable ways. Be still, and follow your peace.

Accelerated Promises
“I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.”
Isaiah 60.22

As a body we are entering into a time (and a realm in the spirit) where things are happening in an accelerated manner. This past December, I got married. It happened very quickly, but I knew God was in it as He had spoken to me many years earlier about a fast transition when I got married. Even though we hadn’t even known each other for two months when we were married, the Lord spoke to each of us and we knew without a shadow of a doubt that we were for each other, and that there was no reason to wait. I believe God is doing things like this all over right now in the body of Christ.

The enemy has shown His hand, and he only has so many plays left before the game is over-and he LOSES. In this season, many will see promises they’ve been waiting on for a long time come to pass incredibly fast or even instantly. What has felt so heartbreakingly hard will suddenly be turned around. For some it’s as if the waiting for this promise (single, barren, widow) has marked their life, and it will transition so fast they won’t even have time to prepare. It will be better and more than they could’ve ever asked for and God’s hand will be clearly on every bit of it. God is redeeming the time during the waiting season that has seemed lost. With this accelerated promise comes redemption! Watch for pregnancies after years of infertility and miscarriages. Look for kingdom marriages that happen suddenly. Expect to see widows and widowers married again. Divine opportunities will happen for people to buy and sell houses quickly.

God is accelerating promises causing things to happen quickly-some things that people have been waiting to come to pass for a very long time. It may seem too good to be true, but the Lord’s hand will be evident to all who are led by the Spirit. This word is for you if you have been waiting on a promise from the Lord to come to pass. You have stood in faith, believing, even though for some it has been a LONG time waiting. As events start to unfold, pay attention to things in your spirit that resonate and could only be God. Walk in faith. Do not allow fear or disbelief to keep you from your promise. Stay close to the Lord, and follow His leading.

Swift Alignment
Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it?
Isaiah 43:19

God is orchestrating strategic alliances and alignments during this season. Watch as some relationships just naturally fall away, and others come to the forefront. New friends, new acquaintances, new connections will lead you to where God is moving in your life. At the same time you may notice that others are no longer in your life. It is a new season and not everyone is going in the same direction. People that are not FOR the direction where God is leading you will no longer be aligned with you. The disconnection may happen organically or it may be on their end. Don’t lament or fear the change just because it’s different, if God is in it. Ask God to speak to you when you sense a change in relationships, ask Him to show you if they’re in your future. The new relationships that are coming to the forefront will be more aligned with your purpose, and it will feel like they’ve been around forever. The connections will be deep and swift, and they will minister to your heart. These are the relationships that your heart has been longing for. God is shaking things up to propel you forward with what He’s calling you to. There is momentum, favor and grace for these new relationships. Trust in knowing that God is orchestrating these changes and they are for your benefit.

God is aligning you with people that are an instrumental part of your future, and are connected to your purpose. He’s removing those people connected to you who are not a part of your future or who are holding you back in some way. This word is for those who feel like they are being drawn into their destiny. You may have even longed to find their tribe, and wondered if it would ever happen. God is highlighting and leading you into what you’ve been called to do. Pay attention to how your relationships are changing. Spend time processing the changes with God, and trust where He’s leading you. Step out in faith with these new relationships.

Sacrifice of Love
But the king replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.” So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them.
2 Samuel 24:24

King David understood the power of sacrifice. When it came to his worship, he wanted to give God an offering that cost him something–this was one of his expressions of worship: sacrifice. Sacrifice is a principle often spoken of in Scripture. However, there’s another principle that God is a generous God. And ultimately, we cannot outgive him.

I recently got married, and my dog of four years did not take very kindly to my new husband. He had been abused by a previous owner, and is therefore very protective of me. Despite training and our best efforts to strengthen their relationship it became apparent that it was best for both of them that I rehome my precious dog. Although it was a painful decision to come to, throughout the process I felt the Lord inviting me in to trust Him more. Did I trust Him to still give me good gifts when I was surrendering one I loved so much? Of course, I want to honor and show love to my husband, and do what’s best for my dog, but in order to do that I had to make a sacrifice of something I loved very much. Every time I prayed about it, I felt like God was asking me if I trusted Him. I was reminded over and over of a popular meme that has a little girl struggling to give Jesus her teddy bear, all the while behind His back, He's holding a gigantic bear to replace the small one she cherished so much. It captures the heart of the father so well. Are we willing to sacrifice what we treasure in order to receive the better gift that He has in store for us?

There is an invitation to lay down something that we treasure and give God something that costs us. Has God already been working on your heart to give something up? It could be a fast from something, a relationship, a hobby, a job, a food that you love, a home or a community. It may not make sense in the moment, and it most certainly will be something that is precious to you, for that is the nature of sacrifice. God is asking if you are willing to trust Him more, and give Him this thing so that He may bless you even more. This is a call to be obedient, and to pay attention to what He’s laid upon your heart.

God is inviting us to draw near to Him and to surrender something precious to us if it’s not what’s best for us. He’s calling us to be obedient to what He’s already placed upon our hearts; there is a sweet invitation to trust Him more throughout this process. This word is for you if you have felt conflicted in some way lately. God may have already highlighted to you something He’s asking you to trust Him with. You may not be able to see how it would be good for you to lay this thing down, but when you ask the Lord will confirm what He’s asking of you. Be obedient to what He shows them. It will require you to lay down something that’s precious to you so that He can pour out His blessing on you even more.
